About Silent Disco Stream
Silent Disco Stream turns a normal Twitch stream into a silent disco: the DJ streams like they always do, and everyone in the crowd listens on their own phone and headphones — no speakers, no noise complaints, no neighbors calling it in. Everyone's dancing to the exact same set at the exact same time.
How it works
The DJ connects their Twitch channel and starts a session, which gives them a QR code and a link. Anyone who scans it lands on a page that plays the DJ's audio straight from Twitch — right in their browser, nothing to install. It keeps playing even with the phone locked and screen off, so it works in a pocket all night.
Why headphones, not speakers
It's the same idea behind the glowing-headphone silent discos you've probably seen — a crowd dancing in near-silence, each person tuned to the same source — except instead of a hardware radio transmitter, it rides on the stream a DJ is probably already running for other reasons anyway.
Party mode: more than one DJ
The multi-DJ silent discos you've seen in person — a few DJs playing side by side, different colored headphones for each one, the crowd hopping between channels to see what's up — work the same way here. A host can turn their session into a party and invite other hosts to join as DJs, all sharing one QR code. Each DJ gets their own color, listeners can switch between them any time, and there's an option to auto-cycle through everyone automatically.
Getting started
Free to use. Listeners don't need an account — just scan and go. Hosts just need a Twitch channel. See "How it works" for the full walkthrough.
